International students planning to study at Keiser University, HCMC may need applying for a student visa to officially begin their studies. This is the visa process guidelines and our support:

1. Eligibility

• Students who are not Vietnamese nationals
• Dual-nationality students who enter and study under identification of a non-Vietnamese nationality

2. Procedure

Step 1

Once you are accepted to study at Keiser University Vietnam (KUV), you will receive the Letter of Acceptance, and you are obligated to provide the following
information 6 weeks in advance of the Vietnam date of arrival:

• Expected date of entry and the particular address of the Vietnam Embassy or
• Vietnam General Consulate in the students’ home country in which visa shall be received.
• Students’ contact information (Name, e-mail address, and telephone number)
• Scanned passport with validity of above one year

Step 2

KUV then submits these necessary documents to the Vietnam Immigration Department in Ho Chi Minh City (VID-HCMC)

Step 3

Once your submitted documents are approved, VID-HCMC will fax a copy of the visa pre-approval to the Vietnam Embassy or Vietnam Consulate General in your home country. At the same time, you will receive a copy of the visa pre-approval from KUV via email. This process may take up to 25 working days.

Step 4

Once receiving the pre-approval confirmation from KUV, you are responsible for printing the visa pre-approval and submitting it at the Vietnam Embassy or Vietnam Consulate General in your home country and paying the fee to get the visa.

Step 5

You will be notified by the Vietnam Embassy/ Vietnam Consulate General about the date and time to receive the visa, type DH–3 months.

3. Required Documents for Student Visa

• Scanned copy of Passport with validity of at least one year
• Visa application form (in accordance with the official's guidance at the Vietnam Embassy or the Vietnam Consulate General)
• Paying confirmation visa fee
• General health check-up certificate issued by a hospital
• Parental or guardian sponsorship confirmation form (for students under 18 years old)
• Form NA2 (provided by Keiser University, HCMC)
• Decision to Invite International Students for Admission (provided by Keiser University, HCMC)
• Letter of Acceptance (provided by Keiser University, HCMC)
• Others (if asked)

4. Note

• Visa fee will vary depending on the original country the student comes from
• Additional documents may be required if needed
