Admissions Guidelines
Step 1: Obtain program details & review admission requirements
Students aspiring to enroll in Keiser University, Saigon are encouraged to thoroughly explore comprehensive information about majors, study levels, training specifics, and other relevant details. While much of this information is available on the school's website, for more personalized guidance tailored to individual circumstances, such as the suitability of the chosen field of study or optimizing the opportunity to transfer abroad, students are encouraged to schedule a consultation with the school's career counselor. Step 2: Gather Required Admission Documents
After fully understanding all the necessary information and deciding on the desired level, and major, students will proceed to prepare their admission application. The admission application package must include the following components:
- 01 Application form
- 01 Notarized copy of High school Diploma or equivalent
- 01 Notarized copy of High school transcript
- 01 Undergraduate transcript (if apply as transient student)
- 01 Notarized copy of ID card/ Passport
- 01 Health certification (adhere to the format provided by clinics/ hospitals at district level or above)
- 01 Notarized copy of English-Language Certificates/ Qualifications (if any)
- 04 Card photo 4x6
Once students have submitted a complete set of valid admission documents, they will receive an Acceptance Letter to finalize the admission procedures. This letter will include instructions for completing the admission procedures and paying tuition fees in accordance with program regulations. Typically, this letter will be issued within 4-5 working days from the date the student completes and submits a valid admission application.
Step 3: Explore Scholarship Opportunities
Students pursuing Keiser University’s programs are always highly encouraged to explore financial aid or scholarship opportunities whenever they meet the applicable criteria. In fact, studying with scholarships, both in Vietnam and abroad, not only provides tremendous relief for those facing financial pressure but also showcases the academic excellence students can achieve. We hope that each scholarship awarded annually will instill a sense of accomplishment in our students, motivating them to continue learning and showcase their true talents.
Step 4: Complete English Proficiency Tests
Keiser University, Saigon adheres with similar entry standards at Keiser University, Florida. Therefore, students pursuing our programs must undergo the corresponding entrance assessment. However, students may submit international certificates to seek exemption from these assessments, in accordance with the home university’s equivalent conversion policy.
In addition to taking placement tests, it is imperative to note that all curricula and programs of Keiser University, Saigon are conducted entirely in English. Hence, students who have not yet met the required English language proficiency standards may be advised to apply for the EAP (English for Academic Purposes) program before enrolling in specialized courses.
Step 5: Complete Registration & Tuition Fees
Once the student has received the Acceptance Letter, they are required to complete payment for the first semester's tuition fee, typically covering the first 6 credits of the program, along with other associated fees such as application fee, entrance test fee, transcript evaluation fee for those who want to transfer from previous academic institutions to Keiser University, Saigon, and a US student Account registration fee as per the listing of each program.
During their study tenure, students are required to pay tuition fees at the beginning of every term. The exact amount of tuition is calculated based on the total number of credits registered. Typically, tuition fees remain constant throughout their time studying at Keiser University in Vietnam, in accordance with the designated duration of the prescribed study program.
Students can choose from various payment methods, as listed below:
- Cash Payment: Directly at the Finance & Accounting Department office and receive an immediate tuition receipt (low recommendation).
- Bank Account Transfer: Students must present a bank transaction receipt to receive the tuition receipt. Additionally, students can send a bank transaction receipt or online transaction receipt.
- POS Machine Payment: Students can use ATM cards or credit cards to pay tuition fees. However, if students opt for credit cards, an additional transaction fee, typically around 3.2% of the total tuition fee, will be charged to the cardholder. Students will immediately receive a tuition receipt at the F&A Office.
Step 6: Entry Competency Assessment & Enrollment
Students will be notified of the on-campus placement test schedules by the Registrar's Office (according to the schedule of Keiser University, Saigon). These tests are not evaluated on a Pass/Fail basis, instead, students will be placed in appropriate levels based on their actual proficiency shows at the beginning of the program.
Before carrying out the test, students will be provided with an activated U.S. Student ID if they pursue Keiser University program. This ID gives our enrolled students an official access to the academic management system of our home universities in the U.S.
